Socket System and Jewels

Hello Eternians!

On this guide you will find everything you need to know about the most recent Socket System and our Jewels. This guide has been requested by players, since the old one was very outdated, so I made this with the correct info. I hope it's helpful!

Your first step must be locating the NPC Socket Manager on Juno. On this NPC you can socket pieces of armor, meld, extract or fuse jewels, and purchase scrolls. Important: In our server both melding and removing jewels has 100% success. This means no jewel will be destroyed or lost while using this system.

How to Socket Items

First of all, the piece of armor must be able to be socketed, so it must show the green text Socket: Available. If it's not, you must use a Socket Reset Card (more information below). Click on the option Socket Items, and a window will appear. You need to put the piece of armor you want to socket on the left slot, and a socketing scroll on the right slot. There's several types of scrolls you can use, and some of them are on the shop on this same NPC (clicking on the Purchase Materials option), but the best scrolls are Legendary Scrolls. You can buy this scrolls on our custom merchant Eternia Special Vendor for 10 million. Once you have everything on its place, click the Socket button. The socketing will cost an additional gold fee depending on the level of your armor.

You will get a random number of sockets, but the max is 7 on every piece: 6 sockets for regular jewels/shards, and 1 socket for chaos jewels. The better the scroll the better the chances to get 7 sockets. If you get another result and want to try socketing your piece of armor again, you need to use a Socket Reset Card. You can find this cards in our Item Mall. Click on one of them and a window will appear, place your piece of armor on the slot and click Yes to make it available to be socketed again. When this happens the armor will show again the green text Socket: Available.

Warning: Be careful when using Socket Reset Cards. As its description says, it will reset not only the sockets but it will also delete the jewels on it. If you have melded any jewel or shard in your armor, make sure you extract them before using this item!

After reseting the armor, you can try your luck and socket again. You will be able to get a higher number of sockets, but also a lower one! Take this into account when reseting and socketing again.

How to Meld Jewels

Click on Meld Jewels and a new window will appear. You need to place your piece of armor on the slot at the bottom. Once you do that you will be able to add the jewels, one by one, on the 7 slots above. The slot on the middle is only for Chaos Jewels, and the slots around it are for Regular Jewels and Shards. There is an extra slot with the following message "Please load the Jewel Protection Scroll". You do not need this because the melding success is always 100%, so just ignore it. Place the jewels on their correct slots and add them one by one clicking Meld. A blue text will appear saying the meld was successful, and you can see now chains on top of the melded jewels.

How to Fuse Jewels

When you click on Jewel Fusion, you will see two options. The first one is to fuse General Jewels, and the second one for Chaos Jewels. "Old" Jewels (Garnet, Topaz, etc) and Shards can't be combined or upgraded.

The first option, General Jewel Fusion, is used to fuse General Jewels. When you click on this option a new window will appear. On top there are three slots you have to fill with the jewels you want to fuse. On the right, there's a slot where you can place Jewel Fusion Scrolls. These scrolls are not necesary for the fusion, but it is highly recommended that you use them, because it will increase your chances of upgrading the jewels you are fusing into a jewel with a higher level. You can place up to 99 for each fusion, the more you use the better your chances. You can find these scrolls under the Misc section in our Item Mall. Once you have everything ready, click Fusion and pay the gold fee that depends on the level of the jewels you are fusing. You will get a random jewel type (you can get any kind of jewel as a result no matter the jewels you fused) and the quality of it will depend on the level of the jewels you fused, the number scrolls you used (if you did use them) and your luck.

The second option, Chaos Jewel Fusion, only allows you to fuse Chaos Jewels, and the results will be only other Chaos Jewels. The method is the same. Place 3 Chaos Jewels on the top slots, and scrolls on the right slot. For this fusion you will need another kind of scrolls though: Chaos Jewel Fusion Scrolls. You will find them also under the Misc section in our Item Mall. Place up to 99 scrolls on the slots, click Fusion, and good luck!

How to Remove Jewels

You need to click on the Remove Jewels option, and you will get to choose one of the two available ways to extract Jewels. Remember that we have 100% success for jewel removing also, so you will get all of them and no jewel will be destroyed!

The first one is Total Removal of Jewels, and it will let you remove all the jewels from one piece at once. Click on it and a new window will appear. Place your piece of armor on the slot and click Removal. You will need to pay a gold fee, and all the jewels will be extracted and returned to your inventory.

The second one is Individual Removal of Jewels, and this option lets you extract the jewels one by one. When you click on this option, a new window will appear. Place the piece of armor on the bottom slot, and select the jewel you want to remove from the slots above. When you do this, the jewel you selected will be surrounded by a glowing light blue border. Click on confirm and a window will appear with the following message: Place the magic scroll required to remove the jewel. To complete this step you need the item Jewel Removal Scroll. You can find it on the Eternia Special Vendor. Place the scroll on the slot and click Yes, and the jewel you selected will be returned to your inventory.
